A thread to collect J. G. Ballard quotes. I bought a book of his quotes and realise if I don’t make an effort to document the ones I like I will spend hours flicking through the book later trying to find things..
This reminds me of the quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes, skinning the subject and leaving the carcass as uninteresting and forgotten. This goes further in suggesting that we are not seeing at all with the camera, an interesting thought.
